When very restrictive COVID-19 lock-downs were implemented in Peru, we quickly shifted our focus to providing food for families around Comas and Carabayllo near our community center. Restrictive lock-downs hit the poor the hardest. Many of the families in this area need to work every day in order to eat. The restrictive lock-downs prevented them from working, and left them with little ability to put food on the table. Our amazing staff and team of local volunteers has been working to provide 250 families with groceries two times a week. That means thousands of people are being fed each week! This involves standing in line for 2 to 3 hours to purchase groceries, assembling bags of groceries, and then climbing the hillsides of the community to distribute the bags of groceries. We love these families, and share with them the Bread of Life, pray with them, and encourage them. We want them to know that Jesus loves and cares for them and has seen their need.

We are so thankful for your support! It allows us to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you would like to donate to our efforts, please visit our donate page.
